Arranging the return of the replacement vehicle

Please be aware that the replacement vehicle will be collected within 4 working hours from the specific date and time Europcar have been notified to collect the vehicle on. This may not be the date and time shown on your Rental Agreement. We will contact you to arrange the collection of the replacement vehicle once we have received instructions from the AA and will attempt to collect the vehicle within 4 working hours from the off hire request unless agreed otherwise.

In some instances you may wish to arrange the return of your vehicle prior to us receiving a collection instruction, this may be due to your vehicle repairs being completed earlier than expected or you may have purchased a new vehicle etc. If you wish to off hire the vehicle prior to us receiving an instruction from the AA please contact our Insurance support team on 0371 384 5953 or email us at aainhouse@europcar.com.

You may also wish to return the replacement vehicle to your local Europcar rental station, if you wish to do so, you must return the hire vehicle by the agreed off hire date and time.

Use our interactive Location Finder map to locate the address, sat nav coordinates and opening hours of the rental station you wish to return your hire vehicle back to.

Within Returns Location Opening Hours Only: Please allow plenty of time for your hire car to be checked over and for you to receive your Statement of Returns to ensure you have full peace of mind before proceeding with your onward journey.

You will remain responsible for the condition and safety of the hire car until it can be inspected by a member of our Returns team during normal opening hours.

Please ensure the vehicle is parked legally and in a safe, well-lit area. If using a parking meter please ensure that you pay for at least four working hours.
