Any hire vehicles provided will be provided with a full tank of fuel (minus delivery & collection fuel). You will need to ensure that the hire car is returned to Europcar with a full tank of fuel to avoid additional charges* to your credit/debit card. If Europcar refuel the vehicle, you will be charged at our standard refuelling rate per litre and with a fixed surcharge. If you are renting one of our Prestige Selection fleet vehicles, the car should be delivered with a full tank of fuel, however, we only ask that you return the vehicle with the same level you receive it with. If you receive the vehicle with less than a full tank, please let us know within 24 hours and we will note it on the system for you. Any further missing fuel will be charged at a premium rate.

Please note our vehicles may not always perform to the same efficiency as your own vehicle, this is something out of our control due to different engine sizes and weight etc, we can not guarantee the fuel type of the vehicle provided due to such a fluid fleet unless an EV specific vehicle is booked.

100% Electric vehicles are to be returned with a minimum of 50% charge remaining at the point of collection. However we kindly request that you return the vehicle with the same level of charge it was delivered with.
